Cute Shoes but POOR quality

I have these shoes and I absolutely love the style of them. I have received many compliments on them ... only one problem. Terrible quality shoes!!!! They scuff soo easily in the light brown or cognac color they sell them in. I have worn these shoes for 3 weeks and they are scuffed up already like I've had them for much longer. The leather is cheap!!!! I would love to buy these in black because I think maybe that leather might not look as horrible with the wear ... but I am afraid to because of my experience with these. I know these shoes are not that expensive and sadly I am considering staying away from anymore madden boots. My mother has a pair of Frye boots she had since she was in her 20's and now my mom is 50 and I am in my 20s .... those boots still look practically new and have now been passed down to me! Please please please do yourself a favor and spend the 300 on some classic boots that will last you forever. Steve Madden Frencchh boots

I saw these boots on Amazon and really liked the look of them. I already have another pair of Steve Madden boots in a soft nubuck beige "Rannch" style and I loved them with the exception that the leather on those was a bit too soft and floppy on the shaft so they do slouch a bit more than I would like. These Frencchh boots in Cognac leather looked like they are made basically the same but that the uppers would have a bit more body to them and they do! They arrived today and I love them! The color is darker than the picture which I was thrilled to seeleather is very nice soft and pliable with a subtle pebble texture and yes they are made like and fit very comfortably like my Rannch style ones but these do have a better upper shaft as far as thickness and the ability to stand upright. They both have adjustable buckles at ankle and upper top so you can tighten or loosen them to fit you.(having an adjustable ankle strap is helpful if you happen to have some heel slippage in any boot) They have a decent amount of arch support and cushioning roomy round toe for comfort and the soles look very substantial and should last a long time. The heel height is a good one for walking. These are not flimsy fashion boots but sturdy well made boots that are tough enough to use for horseback riding walking etc. I ordered a 7 1/2 and I would say these run maybe a 1/2 size smaller. If the company makes more of these would be nice to have them about an inch taller at the top but really not a big deal. I would reccomend these for ANY age group as they are a very classy looking riding style boot. So glad I took a chance on these awesome boots!More detail ...

These shoes are so lovely! They match any color any outfit. The pewter multi look really gold in the picture but in some light they look more silver. They take a little bit to break in but it is so worth it! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Sexy Fashion-forward boots

I LOVE these boots!! It was so hard for me to find a pair of peep-toe booties and I am just in love with these. They are comfortable and can be worn with almost anything. They are also very unique which makes any outfit "pop." I purchased them in grey and the color goes with almost anything. I wear them with skinny jeans pencil skirts dresses and would even wear them with fitted shorts and a sexy blouse to go out to the club. If owning a pair of SEXY shoes was a SIN...............then these are the one's to have. They are simply THA BOMB!!



Wore these to church and before I could get in a seat a young lady touched me on the shoulder and said how much she liked the shoes. These are definitely an eye catcher. The heels are high and if you're not accustomed to wearing high heels you may not want these to be the one's to break you in. Even women who say they can't wear high heels have complimented me on how well the shoes look.

Lets get to the point these boots are FAB! I have them in brown and I just LOVE LOVE LOVE them! They slip on so smoothly they are SO comfortable to walk and be in.

Overall I really just dig the "riding" boot look. :) These boots look great with jeans a skirt (short or long in fact I can't wait to pair them up with some sweater tights!) they just compliment your outfit so nicely. They have a lovely rustic and timeless appeal to them.



They fall right at my knee (I'm 5'6) fit true to size (I wear a 10M) and they are very well made. I wore these boots around my house the night I got them and did not want to take them off. :) This is why Autumn is even more wonderful you get to showcase boots like these! These boots are adorable! They match almost everything I own and are extremely comfortable. They are a little narrow (but true to size in length) and sometimes I have a hard time getting my pants tucked into them. Gorgeous fun pump!

Just purchased these in blue at Macy's - they are STUNNING on the foot. I was skeptical at how comfortable they'd be but I wear stilettos all the time and own several pair of Steve Maddens already so I didn't think they'd be too bad. Great but Inconsistent

I actually bought these boots from another website and returned them once I saw they were on sale on Amazon. My heel kept slipping out of the back of the boots when I tried the 1st pair on. They were also a little tight on the calf. I liked them so much that I didn't think much about it and returned them so I could order the Amazon ones.



But when I got the 2nd pair from Amazon there was no slippy heel they fit perfect and are very comfortable. It's almost like a completely different shoe. I noticed that they get mixed reviews (unlike the SM Bonanza boots) and I think it might just be the manufacturer's inconsistency. LOVE THESE BOOTS!

I will admit to being a bit skeptical about purchasing shoes over the internet. I am a visual person :) so I always like to know how something is going to look on me before buying. ( I hate having to deal with returning/shipping items as well)

I had checked out some department stores and some other shops at the mall. I did go to Steve Madden at the mall and I saw these boots and wanted to try them on but sadly they did not have my size. They were exactly what I was on the hunt for. :)A simple classy and stylish boot that would not kill my feet if I were to wear them all day. :) So imagine my heartbreak when yet again my long size 10 feet were turned away. ;)



I decided to try Amazon since I had some luck in the past finding items on here though shoe wear was never something I thought I'd buy on this site.......well I am so glad I did because not only was my size available I got them for $15.00 cheaper!! Even better! (Free shipping too!:)



These boots are heaven to my feet. :) I love the length (I have longer legs so I was worried where these would exactly fall on me they fall just below my knee) I like the slight "positioned" slouch they have to them. These boots do not "pull down" when you walk in them they stay put. With my previous pair of knee length boots I was always having to pull them up as they would "fall" after a bit. These don't do that.

They are very comfortable to walk and be in. They are simple yet so stylish! I like the flat heel it really makes for a comfortable fit. I have some high heeled boots but after so long your feet start screaming for a break. :) You'll wear these all day without any tears. :)



I also recommend getting a suede protector spray I got these in black and with most suede boots it will pick up dirt....you're going to want protect these lovely boots for as long as you can! :) More detail ...
